Born in 1977 in Szczcein, Poland. She currently works and lives between Warsaw and Paris. She graduated from the Beaux Arts de Paris, in the multimedia atelier of Christian Boltanski.

Her artistic practice is always anchored and interested in disappeared, little-known, or dangerous places. Bringing together fact and fiction, and even science-fiction, her recent film projects were made in Japan on the Island of Yonaguni, in order to discover a monument disappeared into the waters whose origin is unclear, as well as northern Mexico in the crystal mine of Naica that is now impossible to visit, or Tchernobyl. in order to evoke this nature reconstructed on its own ruins. Her last film, The Memory of Glaciers continues a process of reflection begun more than ten years ago on questions of memory, bodies, and places, and the destruction and cycle of life. Caught between these two paradoxes, her process is always motivated by a desire to capture images but also to sculpt them, making visible what is obscure and hidden.
